QUIETBOOMS · INFORMATION & SUPPORT
Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 27, 2026. This notice explains how Quietbooms handles personal information when you visit quietbooms.com, contact us or place an eligible order.
Who is responsible
Quietbooms is operated by Zhengzhou Douxiang Network Technology Co., Ltd., at Unit 3, Building 5, No. 314 Longhai East Road, Guancheng Hui District, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, China (Apartment 38). Contact service@quietbooms.com for privacy questions or requests. Shopify supplies the commerce platform and may process information in its own capacity as described in its privacy documentation.
Information we receive
Information you provide can include your name, contact details, shipping and billing address, order information, support messages, return details and marketing preferences. When you use the site, technical information can include IP address, browser and device details, pages visited, approximate location derived from technical data and cookie or similar identifiers. Payment providers handle payment credentials; do not send complete payment-card details through email or a contact form.
Sources of information
We receive information directly from you, through your browser or device, from Shopify and the payment, delivery or other providers involved in providing the service. If another person places an order for you, information may come from that person. We do not infer that a support email or an address has been independently verified merely because it appears on the site.
How information is used
We use information to operate and secure the site, answer inquiries, administer orders and returns, arrange delivery, maintain records, prevent fraud, comply with legal duties and resolve disputes. With the appropriate permission or other lawful basis, we may send marketing or measure website use. Where a legal basis is required, the basis depends on the activity, such as performing a contract, complying with law, legitimate operational interests or consent where applicable.
Providers and other disclosures
Information may be shared with Shopify, payment providers, carriers, communication and hosting providers, professional advisers, authorities where legally required and parties involved in a lawful business reorganization. Providers receive information relevant to their role. This notice does not assert that a particular advertising pixel is installed. Actual technologies depend on store configuration and the choices available to you.
Cookies and marketing choices
Essential cookies support functions such as a cart, security and remembering a privacy choice. Optional analytics, preference and marketing technologies may be subject to consent or opt-out rights. Use Manage privacy in the footer and see our Cookie Policy. Unsubscribe using a marketing email link or contact us. Operational order messages may still be needed after you opt out of marketing. Browser controls may delete or block cookies but can affect store functionality.
Retention
We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes described, including order administration, support, fraud prevention, accounting, tax obligations and legal claims. The appropriate period depends on the record and legal duty. Information that is no longer needed will be deleted, anonymized or otherwise handled under applicable requirements. We do not promise a fixed deletion period for every category.
International processing
Our business is in China, and Shopify and other providers can process information in other countries. The protections and laws in those countries may differ. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or other safeguard, the relevant transfer must be handled accordingly. Contact us for questions about a particular processing activity.
Security
We use reasonable measures appropriate to our operations and the information involved. No internet system is completely secure. Use a trusted connection, keep account credentials private and tell us if you suspect an account or information security issue.
Your rights and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, receive a copy of, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising. Visit Privacy Choices or email service@quietbooms.com. We may verify identity proportionately and may need to retain information for a lawful reason. An authorized agent may act where the law permits. We will not unlawfully discriminate for exercising a right. You may also complain to a competent data protection or consumer authority.
Children and third-party links
This store is not directed to children. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children in circumstances requiring parental permission. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied information so we can consider an appropriate response. External sites have their own practices, which should be reviewed before sharing information.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice to reflect changes in the service or legal requirements. The effective date appears above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or seek consent. Your existing statutory rights are not removed by an update.
